Sotécnica executed a project to improve the fire safety system of Parque Nascente’s Shopping Center facilities.
In this project, Sotécnica was responsible for the self-protection measures of the building, which included the supply and installation of:
- Sprinkler network on the three parking floors (about 30 km of piping);
- Fire pumping plant;
- Fire doors;
- Fire systems protection for the commercial area shops;
- Ventilation of the antechamber of the stairs;
- Reinforcement and improvement of the building’s emergency signs;
- Replacement and reinforcement of emergency lighting.
Parque Nascente Shopping Center is located in Rio Tinto (Gondomar) and was originally built in 2003. The shopping center has a gross commercial area of 63,500 m2 and a parking lot with capacity for 3.400 vehicles.
