On the 21st and 22nd of October, the Hospital Internacional dos Açores will host the HIA International Summit, the 1st International Health Congress promoted by the hospital since its opening, in March 2021.
During these two days, the HIA International Summit, whose 1st edition highlights the theme “New Healthcare Challenges in Azores”, will bring together a panel of nationally and internationally renowned speakers, aiming the sharing of knowledge concerning topics and techniques relevant to the health sector and for the well-being of the community, with a special impact on the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

Hospital Internacional dos Açores is the first private hospital in the Azores Archipelago, built to strengthening the region’s healthcare capacity. Located in the municipality of Lagoa, in São Miguel, the hospital provides healthcare for around 50 medical specialties, is equipped with 50 medical offices, 96 beds and also a maternity unit, 5 operating theaters and an Oncology Day-Unit.
Sotécnica has been an active partner in the hospital’s activity since January 2022, providing technical services of fluorinated gases, TIM III and HVAC maintenance.
